Trevor Lawrence was watching the Broncos-Chiefs game from Ross Matiscik’s birthday party.
“Obviously it was Ross’ birthday, so I wasn’t holding the remote rewinding all different pressure looks that Denver was doing, but when I got home I did a little bit of that.”

There’s been a story doing the rounds for a while that Patrick Reed tipped a local caddie $7,500 for helping him in practice rounds on a scouting trip at LACC in 2023. Evin Priest and I asked him about it today at the BMW PGA Championship and he confirmed the story.
“I do it every time. I do it every time I go to Augusta, whether it's a US Open, anytime I bring a local caddie or something like that. I always tip them up appropriately.
“I feel like they're the ones out there spending their entire day out with me and then, you know, grinding with me. So, that being said, for me, it's one of those things that I'm very appreciative for what they do and how much they help me out and it's the least I could do.”
He went on to say:
“It’s one of those. I mean, it was three days out there, and, you know, it's just not one round of golf. I mean, we're out there for seven, eight hours, and I can only imagine how tiring it is for those guys, as well as having to carry a staff bag rather than just a regular looping bag.”
We also asked him if he feels like the good stuff he does sometimes goes unnoticed. He replied:
“I've just never been the type that wants to sit there and just post everything on social media and all that. I mean, that's never really my intention to do things to help others, and, you know, to broadcast it.
“For me, it's more about just helping everyone else, helping as much as I can. And, you know, we've been fortunate enough throughout the years, and, throughout my career, to have the opportunity to be able to help out.
“So, yeah, anytime I get an opportunity, I definitely do.”

🇺🇸 September 14, 2001. Ground Zero.
President Bush climbed onto a wrecked fire truck with a retired FDNY man named Bob Beckwith and a bullhorn.
A worker in the pile yelled that he could not hear him.
Bush: “I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!”
