IT Dude, Dad, Caffeine Fiend, Munster Fan. The reason I’m not looking at you in Zoom calls is not that I can’t stand the sight of you. I just have many screens.
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 In hindsight the Nov. internationals seem like the hinge on how the season turned.Up to December we had clarity of intent with one way to play, simplicity. We were playing at speed. After that we lost all capacity for ball handling, lineouts and scrummaging.High point was Argentina
@FMC_Rugby@stringer9@SBarnesRugby He ran the same play against the Ospreys in 2004. A bit closer to the posts. But I’d love to see that as a comparison. @SquidgeRugby anything in your archives?
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 Refereeing at the breakdown and scrum is still a complete lottery. But..positives... Pack was way angrier this week. They really fronted up. For me though Haley's direct running was the big performance diff. Without his yards and nous in holding possession we're losing that game.
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 So much dead wood in the depth chart by the looks of the performance on Saturday. If they‘re not able to front up on Saturday then surely wholesale change has to follow. Bring loads more youth through immediately. Even at the expense of a full year of learnings and yearnings.
@Te_Nug What are the most common work-ons you’ve had to constantly come back to and what’s been the toughest work-on you’ve had? Oh, and have you ever been thrown up in a line out?
@realLangerDan If someone, in any way serious, wants to investigate any potential pollution from Alcan. Then go take samples from the residential, attic, cold water tanks of Shannon, Sixmilebridge, Newmarket and Ennis. If there’s red “mud” there then it might be worthwhile testing.
@Richie_Allen The pod based system that’s being ran just isn’t suitable for the skillsets of the players. They’re running too close and too narrow and they haven’t the ball skills to handle the traffic running at them. That’s on Mikey. When they’re turned over there’s too many lads left behind
@RoughTrade@futureislands on Hootenanny, truly astonishing, tops my list. But how about @cmatbaby on Graham Norton, wild and punk AF, speaking of which… L7 on The Word or how about Pixies on Jools or Radiohead on Jools. A lot of Jools is just class.
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 Another Winter competitive match in PUC is a shocker of a decision. You’re miles away from the pitch, miles away from the city, miles away from anywhere else in Munster.Seems like it‘s setup to only make limited monies over TP and alienates everyone not from Cork City.
@threeredkings Oh c'mon Tom. It's a horrible venue for Rugby. You're miles away from the pitch. Miles away from the city. Miles away from anywhere else in Munster. It's brings in limited funds. If any?! And only serves to line the coffers of the Cork GAA board who are in direction competition.
@AMunsterMan_ @AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 Yeah, Munster every year since 2011, one season it’s change in leadership, another it’s injuries, then leadership, then budget, then injuries and leadership, aging players, loss, then rinse and repeat more leadership change and so on and so on till the heat death of the universe.
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 Gutted that Tackies is seemingly leaving. Seems to be a load of lads whose contracts are up at the end of the season with no renewal notices yet. Hopefully the back room is getting stocked up on the sly.
