2023: 29.18%
2022: 12.15%
So, returns in 2023 were really ~25% after considering inflation.

If a person had bought 10 gms of SGB, he can still buy 10 gms of physical gold now with the SGB maturity amount. Please don't write if you are not aware of the subject.

@jithin_5581 @jaganm People who invested in SGB instead of physical gold would have made more money thanks to the discount, 2.5% interest and tax savings. Nothing has changed with this budget except the gold price which has affected all forms of gold.
