The UAE made Badr 250 light attack aircraft has attracted strong interest from military leaders, officials and international delegations at the Al Alamein International Airshow 2026.

Developed and manufactured entirely in the UAE by G5 Holding, the aircraft is designed for close air support, reconnaissance, surveillance and armed missions, featuring a lightweight carbon fiber airframe and advanced mission systems.

The Ministry of Defence announced that assessments revealed the two ballistic missiles detected, originating from Iran, were targeting maritime navigation and fell into the sea.

The Ministry of Defence affirms its readiness to respond to any threats and to resolutely counter any attempts to undermine the security of the country or the safety of maritime navigation in the region, thereby safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its national interests, assets, and resources.

The Ministry also urges the public to obtain all information from official authorities in the country and to avoid rumors and misinformation.
