THIS IS ONE BRIEFING YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS
@Alex_Barbir and I are the only people I know who have been called out by the dark trifecta of Nigeria -- Tinubu's regime, the Sultan of Sokoto, and Sheikh Gumi.
THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST TIME TOGETHER. Be there to witness history in the making. The truth will be spoken, the light will shine, the earth will shake!
The last time I did a briefing in DC, Nuhu Ribadu rushed over to do damage control and handed the US more targets to bomb. I hope he's backing his bags and bringing more juicy targets!

How can you rehabilitate 700 terrorists? What if they are pretending to want rehabilitation?
Do you know what 700 terrorists with arms can do to a city? 😭😭😭
Meet the Sultan Who Financed Terror, Locked Nigeria as an Islamic State, and Gave Virtually All of Nigeria’s GDP to Fund Global Jihad
Ibrahim Dasuki spent ten years chairing a branch of the most notorious terror-financing bank in modern history. Then he took the throne. Then he sealed the deal.
From the article:
On November 28, 1989, in the brand-new federal capital city of Abuja, the Organization of the Islamic Conference convened a joint meeting of its major allied bodies. The Islamic Council of London. The OIC itself. And a newly founded entity called the Islam in Africa Organization. The conference issued a communique that reorganized the Republic of Nigeria.
It designated Abuja as the permanent headquarters of the Islam in Africa Organization — the OIC’s African expansion arm. It committed Nigeria to transforming a national political party into a National Islamic Party. It rectified Nigeria’s full membership in the OIC, which had been secretly granted three years earlier by then-military head of state Ibrahim Babangida without the approval of his Supreme Military Council. It thanked the government and people of Nigeria for “generously” donating US$21 billion to the Islamic Development Fund of the OIC. It called on the federal government to implement all OIC policies and programs to demonstrate that Nigeria was “truly an Islamic nation.”
The man presiding over the Sokoto Caliphate at the moment of the declaration was eleven months into his reign. His name was Ibrahim Dasuki.
And before he was Sultan, he was a banker.

As the World Cup Begins Without Nigeria
As the World Cup begins today across three nations, I identify with our teeming football followers and urge them not to be despondent that Nigeria is not participating, despite the abundant talent in our land.
Our failure to participate on the global stage is not due to a deficit of talent; it is a direct consequence of a deficit in leadership, planning, and institutional support.
The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. Do not watch the World Cup with despair; rather, see it as a reminder of where Nigeria ought to be. We must move our country from being a nation of mere consumers of global entertainment to a nation of proud producers and competitors.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
The World According to Usman dan Fodio
Dan Fodio's teachings are still revered today across northern Nigeria and taught in Quranic schools and the Sokoto palace. A descendant of dan Fodio who grew up in the palace (like the current Sultan) would be fully educated and steeped in this worldview.
A person raised on Shehu Usman dan Fodio's Arabic writings sees the world without modern filters:
>> No infidels (kuffar) and apostates (murtadd) are never considered "innocent." Christians and resisters are legitimate targets for raids, killing, abduction, or subjugation under jizya with humiliation (Quran 9:29). Nominal Muslim leaders enabling democracy, Western ties, or Christian presence are takfir'd as apostates. Jihad against them is obligatory, just as dan Fodio declared Hausa rulers kuffar for shirk and corruption.
>> Slavery is fully legitimate as jihad spoils. Non-Muslims captured in war—especially Christian girls, women, and children—become rightful property: concubines, laborers, or forced converts. Dan Fodio condemned enslaving free Muslims but upheld classical rules for infidel captives. The Sokoto Caliphate ran on this system; today's radicals (Boko Haram/ISWAP) continue it without apology.
>> Purifying the platform for the Mahdi drives everything. Dan Fodio's tajdid (renewal) and Caliphate removed bid'ah to prepare society for end times. Modern followers see church burnings, village raids, land seizures ("Fulanization"), and massacres in the Middle Belt as purification—driving out infidels, enforcing pure Sharia, and advancing the global struggle until the Mahdi emerges. No coexistence. Total dominance or endless war.
This is the unfiltered Sokoto blueprint—hijra, takfir, conquest, spoils—alive in those rejecting Nigeria's secular order. Dan Fodio's Bayan Wujub al-Hijra and Wathiqat Ahl al-Sudan remain the manual.
Does this sound familiar? The pattern in the Middle Belt isn't random; it's exactly what Usman dan Fodio practiced, wrote and taught.
SO HERE'S PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR THE SULTAN:
WILL YOU PUBLICLY REPUDIATE THE TEACHINGS OF YOUR "GRANDFATHER," USMAN DAN FODIO?
Silence is evidence @sultan_ofsokoto

Good news: Dr. Iheukwumere Ikechukwu of the Department of Microbiology at COOU has been sacked by the Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
He sexually abused students and engaged in different forms of misconduct.
Four other academic staff members were also sacked, including two professors.
We are restoring integrity in our universities, which will in turn improve the quality of our graduates.
Good news: Uchegbu Kosischukwu won the gold medal in the senior category at the German Mathematics Olympiad in Frankfurt, Germany.
She competed against students from schools across Germany and also from 52 other countries.
She currently attends Ambassador College, Ota.
What a star!

Made in ABA in Igbo land.
I bought this pair of footwear in 2024, and to my greatest surprise, it has completely changed my perception of Made in Aba products. Despite the negative things some people say about Aba-made shoes, this footwear is still in excellent condition today.
I personally used it for over one year and six months before handing it over to my younger brother. Throughout that period, it was used almost every day, including for bathing, yet it has neither torn nor required any repair from a shoemaker. That level of durability speaks for itself.
My honest assessment is that Aba manufacturers are capable of producing world-class, long-lasting products. The quality you get often depends on the specifications you request and the capital invested in production. The same principle applies globally. China, for example, produces both low-quality and premium products depending on the buyer's budget and requirements.
Aba remains one of the greatest manufacturing hubs in Africa, driven by the creativity, skill, and resilience of Igbo entrepreneurs and craftsmen. Instead of looking down on locally made products, we should support and promote them because they create jobs, drive innovation, and strengthen our economy.
The talent in Igbo land is undeniable. Give an Igbo craftsman the right tools, resources, and market, and he can compete with the best in the world.
Igbo to the world. Aba made, globally respected.
What June 12 Should Mean to Us Nigerians
Today, we observe a day that should mean a great deal to us as a people who cherish democratic principles. Every year on June 12, the conversation inevitably turns to a critical assessment of the state of our nation. It serves as an annual benchmark for asking important questions: Are our elections today as transparent as they were in 1993? Is the social contract being honoured? Are the institutions of governance truly serving the people?
Ultimately, June 12 is a powerful blend of reflection and aspiration. It honours a fractured past while serving as a constant and foundational reminder of the immense power inherent in the collective democratic will of the Nigerian people.
For us in Nigeria, June 12 is not merely a date on the calendar; it is the emotional and structural bedrock of our modern democratic identity. Officially recognised as Democracy Day, June 12 carries deep historical, political, and social significance, representing both a monumental tragedy and the ultimate triumph of the collective will of the people.
To understand what June 12 means to Nigeria, one must examine its history, its evolution, and its enduring symbolism.

Today, we completed the high-speed internet setup for the Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural & Bioresources Engineering departments at UNN.
That’s full departmental coverage.
It’s free for all lecturers, staff, and students who are allowed in.
This will enable them to carry out meaningful research without friction and engage in online classes.
We will observe the experience for a while before extending it to other departments in the faculty.
This is my way of encouraging research and innovation in our institutions.
20,000 youths from Edo state can comb and clear the entire forests in Edo state of kidnappers, bandits and terrorists in just 7 days.
It will be a voluntary call to service to reclaim back their state and rid it off banditry, kidnappers and terrorists, and the exercise will last only 7 days.
They will be deployed in 8 groups of 500 volunteers each, into different directions to comb the entire forest of Edo state, and will remain in the forest for 7 days. The state government will handle their feeding and water for 7 days.
The result will be massive, because they will discover so many things.
After the 7 days exercise, every community will set up local vigilante to monitor activities around their community, expecially communities closer to those forests. They must report to the authorities immediately they observe any strange movement.
Communities where kidnappers return to after the 7 days clearance, their chief, CDC chairman, including the LGA chairman will be suspended by the Governor.
This will work and Edo state will return to her past glory.
Please Note, this exercise is totally voluntary.
Retweet until the people and government of Edo state sees this.
@im_Kolins Since they denied being Igbo, there is no need to accept it now. Let's believe they are not Igbo. One of the super eagles's player; Sunday Olise came out openly to teatify that he is not Igbo. Igbos don't beg people to convert to Igbo.
During the genocide against the Ndigbo, I was 9 years old. The federal troops started killing my community Our parents started telling us to make sure we deny being Igbo wherever we go if we must stay alive. That was how we started to deny being Igbo.
🗣️~ Senator Ned Nwoko cried out.
Bro, that man stole 210 trillion.
Not million. Not billion. Trillion😭
Not 1 trillion. Not 10 trillion. Not even 100 trillion.
210 trillion!
There is hardly any sector of Nigeria’s economy you could invest that kind of money in and not see massive, transformative change. Education, healthcare, power, infrastructure, agriculture, every single sector would feel the impact like mad.
Yet person papa embezzled that amount only am.
The craziest part is that no individual could ever reasonably spend that kind of money in a lifetime. It’s wealth beyond comprehension, while millions of us average Nigerians struggle daily to afford basic necessities.
God will punish all of you.
Every single one of you.
People who destroyed Peter Obi's businesses will allow Peter Obi to float a political party.
You guys watched while this man was punished for contesting an election and instead of questioning Tinubu, you are asking Peter Obi why he has not done more.
Is he a messiah?
Should he give up his life?
