¿ Se le ha retirado el pasaporte a Montoro, ex ministro del Partido Popular ?

Montoro está encausado en el llamado Caso Montoro: causa por corrupción abierta en un juzgado de Tarragona. Fue imputado en julio de 2025. Se le investiga por 7 presuntos delitos graves :

1. Cohecho (soborno)
2. Fraude contra la Administración Pública
3. Prevaricación
4. Tráfico de influencias
5. Negociaciones prohibidas
6. Corrupción en los negocios
7. Falsedad documental

Supuestamente usó su cargo como ministro de Hacienda- en el Gobierno de Rajoy- para promover reformas legislativas y reglamentarias que beneficiaban a empresas del sector gasístico, a cambio de comisiones millonarias canalizadas a través de su antiguo despacho Equipo Económico (que fundó antes de volver al Gobierno).

A Begoña Gómez le retiraron el pasaporte con rapidez, aunque las acusaciones fueran menores que las que pesan sobre Montoro. Con el ex ministro del PP no se ha visto la misma contundencia. Cuando el entorno de Sánchez está en el banquillo mediático, las medidas cautelares caen con una facilidad admirable; cuando el afectado es un ministro del PP todo se vuelve prudente, técnico y más lento. Y eso, en cualquier democracia, huele fatal.
