Every software engineer has two jobs.
1. The one you're paid for.
Write code. Fix bugs. Attend meetings.Deliver features.
2. The one your future depends on.
Learning. Building your communication skills. Understanding system design.
Keeping up with AI. Improving your judgment.
First pays monthly salary. Second determines the next five years of your career.
Don't neglect either.
learn to go where wealthy people go. you don’t have to spend like them, you just have to stop feeling like you don’t belong there.
i remember when i couldn’t afford the lifestyle i wanted yet.
every friday evening, i’d walk into a high end hotel lobby, order one coffee, sit in the same corner and open my laptop like i belonged there. nobody knew i was going back to a small brokie apartment after 😂 all they saw was someone comfortable in that environment. week after week, something changed.
i stopped feeling like an outsider. i studied how people spoke, how they carried themselves, how deals were discussed and how confidence looked in real life.
one night, a man approached me cos he assumed i was a regular. that conversation opened a door to an opportunity i wasn’t qualified for on paper but i carried myself like i was. do you know that months later, my reality caught up with that environment i had been exposing myself to. nothing magical happened. i simply stopped seeing that world as theirs and started seeing it as a place i belonged too
i will repeat this again;
if you spend all day at a fish market, you’ll leave smelling like fish even if you never touched one but spend your day in a perfume shop and you’ll carry the scent even if you didn’t buy anything, that’s how environment works. it rubs off, whether you realize it or not. the scent of your environment will always follow you.
wealth starts with familiarity before it starts with money. your mind has to accept a reality before ur life can build it. learn something, buena suerte.
fall in love with your life.
wake up early, buy your favorite coffee, go for walks, eat good food, wear what you love and listen to your favorite music. create these little moments of joy that make you fall in love with your life.
TO MEMORIZE ANYTHING:
1) Read it 10x
Keep going even if you don’t get it the first time.
2) Write it 10x
Your hand might hate you, but your brain will thank you later.
3) Say it 3x out loud
Yes, even if you sound like you’re summoning something.
4) Repeat for other terms
It’s boring but it works, I swear.
just saw a girl explain that she tired to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning beauty pageants, securing paid brand deals, appearing in commercials.
this is your sign to chase rejection to the point of “accidental” success.
you’ll be suprised.
my favorite ways to talk to a stranger:
- offer to take a photo for them in pretty places
- ask what food they ordered
- comment on how beautiful the weather is
- give them a casual compliment
- ask what they're reading
- ask for directions
- casual smile when you walk by
either it leads to a longer convo or it's just a positive human interaction of the day

you need four hobbies. no more, no less.
create
bring something into existence. write, build, draw, code, cook. creation grounds you. it turns thought into reality.
consume
read books. watch films. study art. this feeds taste and perspective. good input sharpens good output.
cavort
move your body daily. walk, lift, run, dance. motion stabilizes the mind. a stagnant body distorts thinking.
commune
have a community. friends, family, peers. isolation corrodes judgment. shared reality keeps you sane.
miss one, and the system degrades.
keep all four, and life stays balanced, generative, and human.
telling your brain "i know you don't wanna do the thing and it'll be very uncomfortable for you at first but you can do it buddy. it'll be fine" is actually surprisingly effective. it sounds too simple but that fuckass organ WILL listen to you if you treat it with kindness lol
writing will genuinely change your life more than motivation ever will. not in some cringe “manifest your dream life” way. i mean in a very real, practical way. most people never actually stop long enough to understand what’s going on inside their own head. they just react to life all day. scroll when they feel uncomfortable. distract themselves when things get quiet. jump from one dopamine hit to the next. but writing forces you to slow down for a second and actually look at your thoughts instead of running from them. and the weird part is you usually don’t even realize what you truly think until you start writing it down.
writing doesn’t just record your thoughts it creates them. ideas start flowing that you didn’t even know were there. patterns start showing up. emotions start making sense. problems become easier to solve because they’re no longer this giant fog floating around in your head. writing organizes your mind. every high performer, every sharp thinker, every person who just gets it, they all write. It keeps showing up as the common thread. not the expensive stuff. not the complex stuff. Just pen and paper. they write because feelings are vague but words are precise. every time they sit down and search for the exact word to describe what’s inside them, they become a sharper, more powerful communicator.
“people follow the person who can say what they mean and mean what they say. writing every day is how you build that muscle until it becomes second nature.”
over time, all that accumulated writing becomes a resource you can draw from forever. the more you write, the more material you have to solve problems, connect dots and think bigger.
the better you get at putting thoughts into words, the better you get at communicating in general. and honestly, communication controls a huge part of your life. like relationships, opportunities, business, confidence, influence, all of it comes down to how clearly you can express yourself. and no, you don’t need to be some amazing writer either. your grammar doesn’t need to be perfect. nobody cares. half the benefit comes from simply getting thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
some of the best writing advice i’ve ever heard was:
“write badly. just write.”
because the moment you stop trying to sound smart or perfect, your real thoughts finally start coming out.
even 30 minutes a day changes something in you. you become calmer because your mind isn’t carrying around a thousand unprocessed thoughts anymore. you become more self aware because you start noticing your own habits and emotional patterns. you become more articulate because you’re practicing turning feelings into language every single day.
if you write every day, your future self gets to sit down and read exactly how far you’ve come. i think that’s more valuable than any photo album.
who knows maybe one day all that writing becomes a book, a course, something you give your children. at the very least, it becomes proof that you were here, that you grew, that you tried.
that’s one of the coolest parts about it. writing lets you watch yourself evolve with time.
seriously. start writing. doesn’t matter if it’s in a notebook, your notes app, twitter wherever. just sit, think about your thoughts and write.
just sit down for 30 minutes and let your mind speak for once. and watch yourself becoming unstoppable.

Picking the wrong one is why your AI project is underperforming.
1️⃣ Simple RAG
Retrieve top-k chunks from a vector store, then generate.
→ Use cases: FAQ bots, internal knowledge assistants, support.
2️⃣ Hybrid RAG
Combines semantic and keyword search, then reranks the results.
→ Use cases: Enterprise search over messy or technical docs where pure vector search misses exact terms.
3️⃣ Corrective RAG (CRAG)
Scores retrieved content for relevance and triggers a fallback search when it's weak.
→ Use cases: Medical, legal, financial. Anywhere a wrong answer is expensive.
4️⃣ Self-RAG
The model decides when to retrieve and critiques its own output before answering.
→ Use cases: Technical documentation, deep research, exploratory writing.
5️⃣ Graph RAG
Retrieves over a knowledge graph of entities and relationships, not just isolated chunks.
→ Use cases: Scientific discovery, legal reasoning, multi-hop questions where connections matter.
6️⃣ Agentic RAG
An agent routes queries, runs multi-step retrieval, and validates across sources and APIs.
→ Use cases: Automated research, market intel, executive dashboards.
Most teams default to Simple RAG and wonder why accuracy stalls.
The architecture isn't the afterthought. It's the decision that determines whether your RAG system actually works.
Match the architecture to the problem. Not the other way around.
