@ryemdoubleu Not car free exactly, but DC has decent public transit, expansive green space, and a pretty well connected system of dedicated bike trails. I lived in the 'burbs of Northern Virginia for 3 years with no car and had a pretty nice time.

@TourDeJose Sevens rugby, and I’m excited to see sport climbing this year. The interesting thing is that climbers must compete in all 3 main disciplines (speed, lead, and bouldering), which is kind of like if cyclists had to track sprint, ride road, and do BMX tricks.

@HelloImArleigh I've tried many, many bibs but I keep coming back to RedWhite's women's bib shorts. The chamois and level of compression really work for me. And they're a great value. I like them better than bibs 2x the $$.

@HelloImArleigh Agreed. Tried multiple brands with their various pee-on-the-go features and still find full-zip bibs more convenient.

Why is the sky now grey instead of orange? The difference today is more water vapor in the air at higher altitudes, changing the way light shines through the smoke particles. When sunlight is scattered through smoke and water vapor, we get grey skies.

@bikeshopgirlcom Fell out of the riding habit as I went back to school for a doctorate. Silver lining of the pandemic for me: it's given me time to ride again! No work + no travel for school = mental space for self-care (AKA cycling)!
