Playstation spins off from Sony, Microsoft partners with Playstation to spin off Xbox to them. Playstation as a single brand releases the PlayStation Xbox. Gaming is saved. Fans clap. Crash avoided.
@ZakkenKloot@IGN She will be the scapegoat for the changes if it fails but not necessary been a change post ousting.
Likely:
- once ready for spin off resulting in sale or reencorperation dropped
- new company uses this as a "refresh" but keeps direction.
@JulienTerzariol@CultureCrave@THR Black Mirror movie that a moderator deleting people's posts leads to the person developing dementia in real life as their personaility disappears only at the last post deleted instead of becoming completely erased they are not switched onto the always online world and 'dead'
@Rambuie911@Priestlyblock67@xMBGx Nah they are planning to go AAAA which will be just as always a branding but this time rebadged as AI, slimed down "high" quaility games.
Epic just published “The Road to UE6,” outlining its vision for the next generation of Unreal Engine.
Epic says AI will be deeply integrated into the development process:
“For UE6, we see LLMs, generative AI models, and tools like Claude and Codex playing a central role in helping you build content faster while maintaining the creative control you need.”
According to Epic, UE6 will:
>Combine Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) into one ecosystem.
>Bring Verse into the main development workflow alongside C++ and Blueprints.
>Support larger multiplayer games and more persistent worlds.
>Use AI tools to help developers create content faster while staying in control.
>Build on UE5 with backward compatibility, making the move to UE6 an evolution rather than a complete reset.
