@kolixela even something like setting a timer has been helpful for me. e.g., “for the next 5 minutes i will be as angry and sad as i want to be and won’t feel guilty for not doing more” or “i will spend the next 10 minutes callings my reps/figuring out how to volunteer for my local org”

@kolixela i feel that. deeply. it’s okay to feel despair & exhaustion and it’s necessary to find joy & rest where & when you can. my overwhelm often worsens w/ social media & news so i try to limit my doomscrolling, it lessens when i engage in collective action.
