@playym8te @gonewithfire I’m elder Millenial old and I absolutely knew people 10/15 years ago who had an ‘exclusive’ period before they became official. Some were official right away. It truly depends on preference and I don’t see anything wrong with doing it either way in real life.

@playym8te Like…I know I’m old but I didn’t realize it was this bleak. I see it as preference but a lot of people get in a relationship to marry and it’s so dismissive to call the courting/talking/dating stages as situationships. And it’s wild to expect that from people on a dating show

Being exclusive is not a situationship for the simple fact that there is INTENT. It's an intentional stage. Typically people go on dates and date multiple people then decide to exclusively get to know (date) one person with the intent to begin a relationship. There is no intent in a situationship. It's messy and there are no boundaries. Which is why it's called such.
