UH... GUYS?! The modding community has finally done it! The mod that was once said to be impossible is now possible in Borderlands 2. (Credit to LJBreeze)
I’m sure Man City will overtake and win the league, because that is the power of a club that buys a new starting XI every time they lose three games in a row.
The gameplan is the Bayern model: hoover up the best talent in the league to stay dominant. But unlike Bayern, Man City ignores financial regulation and just pays the fines (or spend millions on legal fees to drag the league through the courts for years while continuing to buy players and participate in every competition).
That is the power of a club that can spend millions on legal fees to battle hundreds of charges of corruption, money laundering and irregular finances - whilst participating in every competition and benefitting financially from matchday revenue, questionable sponsorship deals and TV deals and prize money.
That is the power of a club that has spent billions to build a financial exploit under the guise of a football club. Nothing at Man City is the same as it was 15 years ago except the name and the primary colour scheme. Everything else is completely new. Training ground, stadium, staff, players, badge, ownership, players. It’s essentially a brand new club built inside the name of an existing IP.
Players and managers need to be bribed with insane wages to consider moving to Manchester and becoming a de facto mercenary - playing for a club with no heritage or clout - in the chase for bolstering their CVs with illegitimate trophies that could potentially end up being stricken from the record if the league grows a spine.
Meanwhile we’re all supposed to pretend that at the end of the day it’s 11v11 and if they win they must be good. Well of course they are good, the question is how they became that good to begin with.
Imagine if Ferrari suddenly entered a 3,000hp V12 this season, against any and all regulations of the sport. When the FIA fines them they just pay the fine. When the FIA bans them they just deploy a UAE legal team on a £1M-per-day retainer and drags the FIA through the courts for years. Now imagine Ferrari just continuing to dominate with their insane car every race and no one doing anything about the blatant anti-sporting approach.
That is exactly what is happening with Man City, and the league needs to grow a spine.
Aww you didn't like my video screaming in the car?
Go fuck yourself.
You sitting in your car silently thinking about what a miserable failure you are has gotten pretty old too but that hasn't stopped you either
