This practice is spiking heavy metals like lead, mercury & cadmium in our rivers & lakes, while raising pollution levels, cutting oxygen, and causing more turbidity and sedimentation. It often leads to killing fish, algal blooms, blocked waterways, and long-term harm to aquatic life.

India is a country with some of the highest pollution in the world, and it would be a shame if our natural elements became as polluted.
