@elonmusk@grok Ive been wondering if/when X would replace 'Following / For You" with a Grok-powered feed where you can provide granular instructions on how posts and information are surfaced on the feed.
@TK_HelpDesk Thanks Ozan but I have 2 open tickets and was just on the phone to your call centre - everyone has told me that my refund (which has been approved) cannot be processed. Could you please help escalate this? Much appreciated <3
1. In app feature preview is incredible.
2. Activation and onboarding instruction clear and seamless.
3. On my Samsung S22+ when I set perplexity as my default asssistant I still get google assistant when i hold down my homesceeen button. Need to swipe up from corner to get perplexity.
4. For me, cannot control apps eg. "Play a song on spotify" didnt work and voice recognition of my phone contact names was a little janky (might just be my older device tho).
Stripe Billing (our product for handling subscriptions and recurring payments, usage-based billing, discounts, invoices, per-seat pricing, etc.) is now a pretty large and fast-growing business. (Used by Atlassian, OpenAI, Notion, Anthropic, Intercom, and ~300k other businesses.)
While we started (as usual) building for startups, Gartner just deemed Billing a category leader for enterprises: https://t.co/jDCEtM8Obz. There is now a large and quickly-growing pipeline of public companies adopting Billing.
Even though large companies are typically most lucrative, I'm very bullish on products that target startups first. (1) Startups are discerning and won't put up with legacy/arcane technology. (2) Some become large (so you incrementally grow into the enterprise with them). (3) Maybe most importantly, the startups themselves help inculcate the right internal mindset. Dennis Whyte (of MIT's fusion program) has a "faster, cheaper, sooner" motto. Building for startups effectively forces you to adopt that approach in your own product development.
Spotify has many great features (DJ, blend, shared playlists) but BY FAR their greatest contribution to humanity is allowing us to skip through ads during podcasts.
@Spotify has had so many great product ships (DJ, blend, shared playlists, etc) but by FAR the single greatest feature is that they let you skip through ads during podcasts.
