Commissioner Barde Hails Gov Kefas' leadership, Calls for prayers for Deputy Governor Alkali
In moments like this, when our state faces both challenges and opportunities, true leadership is measured not only by decisions taken, but by the compassion shown to the people.
I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, our Governor, for his uncommon leadership, mentorship, patience, and guidance. Serving under his administration is not just a duty, it is an honour. His vision for Taraba State is clear: a united people, a strong economy, and a future where our state is not just among the best in Nigeria, but a shining light in West Africa. His humility and openness inspire me every day to work harder for the progress of our land.
Today, I also join His Excellency in calling on all Tarabans to pray for the speedy recovery of our ailing Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali. To me personally, he is more than a leader,he is a fatherly figure whose kindness, wisdom, and humility have touched countless lives across our state. We ask God, the Great Healer, to grant him full restoration of health, renew his strength, and surround his family with comfort and peace in this moment.
Taraba’s strength has always been in our unity. Let us stand together beyond politics, beyond religious differences, beyond cultural difference and keep faith that our best days are still ahead. With God’s guidance, the dedication of our leaders, and the resilience of our people, Taraba will rise, stronger, and more prosperous than ever.
May God bless our Governor, heal our Deputy Governor, and continue to shine His light on Taraba State.
