Dermot Desmond is utterly detached from the average Celtic supporter.

The board do his bidding and run a very profitable business. That does not make Celtic a well-run, aspirational football club. Quite the opposite.

What we see on the pitch is disjointed. What happens off it is no different. Results are the product of decisions, and the decisions are made in the boardroom.

So ask yourself one question. On this evidence, would you trust the people making those decisions to get the next one right?

Supporters don’t need to buy their way in. Tens of thousands of us already own shares in Celtic plc. What we have never had is a united voice. Scattered, we are ignored. Together, we are a shareholding the board has to answer to.

That is what Celtic Supporters Limited exists to do. Aggregate the shares. Bring the vote together. Put the questions to the board where they cannot be avoided, at the AGM and on the record.

Change at Celtic comes through shareholder pressure. Not boos at full time, not phone-ins. Votes.
