As good a time as ever to remind folks that the January 6th Select Committee's report and records are all preserved and public.
Whatever the administration does, it can't erase the committee's evidence and conclusions: https://t.co/H8iLuj9KVF
"It was said that when Mr. Frank was speaking on the House floor, Capitol Hill staffers, in their offices, unmuted C-SPAN to be entertained."

King Charles III’s affirmation of AUKUS and the standing ovation that it received by Congress are another strong message of the UK and the U.S.’s shared commitment to our security agreement with Australia. The U.S.-UK ‘special relationship’ is charting new waters with Australia for the security of all three nations.
Growing up in the Bronx in the mid-20th century, Eliot Engel, the son of an ironworker and grandson of Jewish immigrants who fled czarist Russia, never imagined he would see a boulevard in Kosovo named in his honor. As the New York Democrat and chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee ended his 32-year congressional career, he looked back on a life of service to a country he believes is still the world’s greatest force for good.
“If we want to effectuate change in the world, if there are things we want to see in the world, if we are going to be the world leader, there are responsibilities that come with that,” Engel told me in an interview. “We are the leaders, and we should act like it.”
Engel passed away today at the age of 79. He was a great American and a good human being Read my 2020 interview with him as he reflected on a lifetime of service here: https://t.co/XbDipp3WDh
I'm so sad to learn that Eliot Engel has passed away
He was a good boss and Member who cared deeply about his community and constituents.
He was also a good chairman, who led the Foreign Affairs Committee at an important time for our democracy.
He will be dearly missed.
Pleased to share my favorite high-resolution capture of the Artemis II launch- the moment the SLS is clearing the tower, captured by a sound-triggered camera placed near the pad.
I'll have prints linked in my bio for this one, and here's a short thread about how it was captured
“Just a friendly reminder: There will be a Protestant Service (No Catholic Mass) for Good Friday today at the Pentagon Chapel,” reads a Friday email that went out to employees across the Pentagon.
A peeved employee passed it along.
just a quick note on procedure in the senate. @bresreports@AndrewDesiderio and i have been making calls on this.
this is obvious, but bears repeating: unless the Senate passes the exact package that the House sent it, the House will have to come back to keep government open. House is out this week
@daveweigel The agenda had a name! And a book! And an implementation timeline!
And it's very hard to believe the "Aw shucks, we don't have anything to do with Project 2025" refrain fooled the Reuters North America editor.
Having been there a couple times when the ultrasound turned up no heartbeat, I'd say nothing about this sounds "pretty cool."
What would be "pretty cool" is if pregnant moms everywhere got the healthcare they need.
Dr Oz: "Alabama has no OBGYNs in many of their counties, so they're doing something pretty cool. They're actually having robots do ultrasounds on these pregnant moms."
@NickMerrill@rachaelmbade And in the case of Steve Bannon (and Peter Navarro), there was no attempt to comply, accommodate, or do anything else. Those were extraordinary cases and that's why they went to jail.
@NickMerrill@rachaelmbade This is correct. Anyone who's worked for a committee knows that there's an accommodations process. Both sides need to accommodate, which it seems like the committee did for most witnesses but not these two (for some reason).
