@elonmusk You are smart enough to know it takes money, and lots of it to get elected (or to get someone else elected, wink wink nudge nudge)
You are also smart enough to know that your post(s) will continue to sow misguided discontent by reinforcing incorrect assumptions.
@CubensisComemce @DrNeilStone I’m sorry if you feel I am telling you what to do. I simply said “I encourage you…” that does not seem like a directive / command to me, but rather a suggestion.
I admire your work with entheogens, FYI. I think they hold a lot of promise.
@amuse@elonmusk The 29% who are smart enough to know it is a BS intimidation tactic with no clearly defined end points that will be used to illegally fire people.
@resmd1@RpsAgainstTrump Because whether it meets “criteria” to maintain their job is poorly defined (or not at all) and will subjectively be used to provide justification to fire them, by people who do not understand what they do nor the importance of their jobs.
@approfre@DrNeilStone Many many hospitals had that in the early days (people staying away, avoiding elective surgery, etc). Afterwards cases increased. Your anecdote proves nothing.

@CubensisComemce @DrNeilStone 1/2 I fully agree the messaging was flawed. The early vaccines were highly effective (not 100%) but impressive compared to other vaccines.
I am sorry you felt locked up.
In hindsight protocols were sometimes cruel (not allowing visitation of dying patients) but with such…
@CubensisComemce @DrNeilStone Covid is not a flu virus, but you probably mean “flu-like.”
Yes vaccines are not perfect and herd immunity is not perfect but it will reduce community spread and protect the community.
I encourage you to learn more about these concepts that are effective public health tools.
@DrNeilStone Never tested positive. A few minor colds since Covid began and home tested multiple times all negative.
I’m a healthcare worker FYI. Vaccine status available upon request.

Granted, this is not solid science (but then again neither is your blanket statement about obesity being a market of poor health)
@ladoctorajones I’m so sorry. I’m an adult medicine hospitalist and we have (probably less) sad stories too.
My father belittled me for sharing stories, calling it unprofessional.
He is so wrong: holding that sh!t in will quickly take you down some dark paths
