@MTA at precisely 8:56am at the middle village train station (M), I witnessed the conductor of Train car #84471 tell a Spanish speaking train rider to”speak English, we’re in America”! As a Spanish speaking citizen of this city I find this behavior not only racist, but degrading

When I asked to speak to his supervisor he proceeds to point to the end of the platform and say he’s not going to come down here and walked away back into the operating room of the train and began to close the train doors.

disrespectful and shameful. When I asked him what he said, he went on to demand I tell him what the other passengers was saying. Which I replied it doesn’t matter and that I personal felt offend by his comments as a a Boricua and as a customer.
