@DanNeidle Yet they hound a CIC for ยฃ100 if they haven't even got any tax to pay! And charge more to register in the first place, than for companies making a profit.
@riversorare It's amusing to see the reactions from BRINO folk on the European Political Community meetings, when the Starmer's Labour clearly won't be rejoining the Single Market or Customs Union. So much for the Norway+ Vote Leave pipe dream... EEA/EFTA might still be a good idea in future.
@riversorare That would have carried a lot more weight had you not opened with "for once it's worked in my favour so I'll stick with it for now"--however much I agree :')
@20thcenturymarc Couple of times I sat on the floor from King's Cross to Newcastle, even after paying ยฃ130+ (spontaneous decision admittedly, but still ridiculous). I used a few ยฃ25 last minute Megabuses too, but 6h through the night is no fun...
@AngelaRayner I have wondered why my parents didn't do that either, but they didn't want to deprive the council of its diminishing stock... If you can help genuinely rebuild that, great.
@Changeling_1 I felt the same when I read that, but admittedly it's often obvious when the line is crossed and people employ double standards. I just wish it was more obvious to people when that clearly wasn't the case though, and it's criticisms that would be levelled at any government.
@MrPostsGood Admittedly I do wonder what Phillips might say to Anderson now, after reading an article about his readmission to Labour in 2021 following his suspension...
@oldishbird1 If only it wasn't naรฏve to expect a British politician to bring up something affecting their own party, at the same time as using similar topical statements to berate the opposition.
@AllanGPaterson Not enough, true. I registered with each move, for my credit record if nothing else! Briefly registered back in the North East when I was travelling and had my things in a London storage unit; in 2019 I saw a house completely covered in Brexit Party bunting in Birtley.
@RealEarthParty You really don't have to throw people who happen to start "gay nightclubs" under a bus to make your point; that was worse than your spurious pivot "fluoride" and "soy". Undermines the entire thing.
@mrjamesob I wonder if it's ghost written by Douglas Murray... Dad got me "The War on the West" as a Christmas jibe. I put it down around the part where he starts feeling terribly affronted at people who _provided food to the homeless_...
Weird to miss the Truss/Kwarteng IR35 plan though.
@scarymole Probably but a trifling matter of party convention... Wonder what else we may see from 19th C.
"Instead of the traditional role of First Lord of the Treasury, Lord Salisbury unusually combined the role of the Prime Minister with that of Foreign Secretary" https://t.co/wjkpHvyPEz
