I think my daughter Liv’s story alone challenges the narrative of this entire documentary. Elon has an enormous heart, and I don’t think he gets nearly enough credit for his compassion.

This isn’t a character that suddenly appeared with a crypto token. ASTEROID was designed by Olivia “Liv” Perrotto, and the physical tag on the original plush literally credits her: “Asteroid was Designed By: Liv Perrotto.”

Liv created the Shiba for the Polaris Dawn mission, and her design went to space as the mission’s zero-gravity indicator. Public documentation also identifies Liv as the creator/designer.

Liv passed away in January 2026 at just 15 years old. Her family has continued preserving her story and legacy through Liv’s Stargrace Foundation.

Today is SpaceX’s first earnings call as a public company.

I found out the top questions submitted by shareholders are about Asteroid — Liv’s Asteroid.

Her final wish before she passed was for Asteroid to become the official SpaceX mascot.

Elon honored that wish.

And now, on the biggest financial stage this company has ever stood on, people are still talking about the little Shiba she designed and named.

I don’t have the words for how that lands.

She drew him. She dreamed him into space.

As a most likely to reach billions market cap meme coin in the new meme cycle, there are several different versions $ asteroid tokens on the market. After conducting in-depth research on the different Asteroid communities and their leadership team, I was honestly deeply shocked by the unwavering belief of @Asteroid_Bags community members and the amazing perseverance and courage of their leaders:

1. They hold daily X Space sessions without fail. One of their leaders, @cryptojiuyi, has been consistently holding an X Space session every day since May 10th, almost without missing a single day, and each session lasts for several tens of minutes. He also continuously shares his insights on Bags Asteroid on his Telegram channel. I checked his TG channel history and found that he rarely recommended any tokens, but whenever he's bullish on a particular token, he will spend several months telling you why this token is great, and will keep updating on the latest developments regarding the token,and every token he recommended achieved tremendous success...This is true builder; And this community has gathered a group of people with the same beliefs. Feng @memeking_888 is another guy doing the similar thing; he has also held dozens of Space sessions, spreading narrative logic and community ideals.

The Bags community also created a community multisignature wallet, and everyone united to donate their tokens as a marketing and development fund for Bags $ asteroid. @cryptojiuyi donated 5.5M number of $ asteroid (0.55%), @memeking_888 donated 1M number of $ asteroid (0.1%), and many other community members joined the donation effort. 3. I joined the Bags community's Chinese and English Telegram groups. The communication is very active, especially in the Chinese Telegram group, where discussions are high-quality. Community members are actively contributing to raise narrative fundamentals of their token and continuously helping Liv's mother with charity work, instead of indulging in fantasies of getting rich quick.
For example, they cleared Liv's mother's wish list shopping cart twice. In one crowdfunding campaign, several thousand dollars were raised within two hours through multiple different people in the community, not just one person, and Liv's mother expressed her gratitude to them.
I notice that two days before (July 28th) was Liv's 16th birthday, and Liv's mother hoped to raise $1600 on that day. The Bags community was the first to step forward and fulfill Liv's mother's wish in one go. Through a series of friendly assistance to Liv's mother, the Bags community seems to have a good relationship with her.

When you look at the history of $troll and $neiro, you'll find that their infringing tokens once reached very high market capitalizations, but ultimately failed because another token obtained official authorization from the original creator. This tells us that for tokens with a clear creator (copyright holder), especially artistic creations, obtaining official authorization is key to ensuring long-term development.
