market makers keep the prices the same across all liquidity pools, on cexs, and different DEX pools that don’t do it automatically (amm pools)

without them, bots and arbitrage traders will extract liquidity because of different prices, each pool is NOT connected so prices will vary everywhere.

market makers can profit from arbitrage, but having a good one, without a one sided contract, over time can increase a tokens treasury, and hold floors.

$TROLL is on so many exchanges with ALOT Of liquidity on these exchanges. I’m assuming another few million in liquidity.

So when we pump temporarily on pump swap, that liquidity is ONLY on dex, and the price is now different on EVERY CEX, liquidity has to be moved from dex to cex to even out the prices, OR someone else does it and that liquidity doesn’t stay in the project.

But also when we pump in coinbase, those arbitrage buys up supply on dex because every pump we’ve had is from coinbase buyers. Now we also have crypto,com so things may get crazy soon.

So when people complain. “All the pumps get sold on”

Ya no shit, they literally have to be, it’s just being moved to other sources of liquidity to even out everything.

But this also happens on the reverse side, if dex is sold off, liquidity moves from cexs and buys up those red candles.

Which is why we are adding more liquidity into these market makers so less impact happens on arbitrage. Over time all the fees we have will be used for liquidity.

More liquidity is more volume, anyone saying cexs are dead don’t understand that doge does 100s and millions of volume on cexs because their is a ton of liquidity, you can’t do that on a dex.
