To the #ENS community, I’d like to hear thoughts on the current state of ENS.

This is the first time I am seeing OGs truly question the future.

@enswheel @robertdavid010 @jaestips_eth Not sure what funding is required but even a digit only marketplace with a percentage of sales put back into the wheel could be interesting. Again I’m not sure what goes into this or the feasibility but just an idea.

There is much more confidence and trust in ethereum overall and therefore that will be reflected to some degree in ENS.

ENS 2022 bull run was during crypto bear.

But since then ENS seems to rely on crypto bullishness to perform well.

Why do you think that is?

Does anyone have numbers on the total value of all ens sales in USD and ETH?

@Nyteowl_YT Really hard to say, it depends on the name I think.

Some names with broad business or personal appeal may not have an upward ceiling to value in the future so you would want to hold now.

Some names that are more specific to small market or user base might be better to flip.

I just checked the eth price which was (2200 usd) and at roughly .11 average sale between the 3 that’s puts the dollar price at 179. 179x from current floor.

3 digits. 37 eth
4 digits 3.25 eth
5 digits .05 eth

Eth was around 1000-1400 usd at this time.
