@GameboyG11@BroseidonUser@DiscussingFilm Fair enough. It could be kinda cool but also potentially very awkward. But the same could be said rn for the movie itself tbf
@ArchiveAcc45561@night5731@ThorLawyer Oh and ig No Way Home is relevant to the subject even though (I’m pretty sure) they aren’t mentioned. But the rest of those movies have nothing to do with incursions they just include characters that will be involved
@ThorLawyer I feel like incursions being explained in dr strange might be slightly important. The rest is straight up everything containing relevant characters so yeah, obviously not necessarily it’s not like this shit was planned out ahead of time
I really do think some people are too hotboxed on accuracy-prioritizing and “my fave would NEVER” mentality to really properly engage with ATSV’s story even when the deck of cards is laid fully bare before them
@joseyseven@skyler_higley I’ve been saying for years now that nerds lost sci-fi to pop culture, I think everything that starts as counterculture shares the same fate
@LazarusCrystalz@JamesTDear@ChrisCrossSauce Nah they’re dumb in the second one bc James Cameron made it and he’s dumb, you can’t write characters smarter than yourself. The sequels went with it tho, Aliens pretty much solidified them as ridiculous hive insects & easier to kill. Sucks

sometimes the timeline just decides a new game is categorically evil and everyone starts convincing themselves “you have to run for ten seconds to reach the next objective” isn’t something they’ve accepted as normal in other games literally thousands of times
