SONY HAS SAID NOTHING FOR 4 WEEKS AND IT IS WORKING
the silence is deliberate. sony built a scoreboard where none of this shows up.
- 350,000 signatures since july 1. sony reports users, revenue, margin. there is no row for anger
- ps plus churn spiked, then sony started offering 25-50% off inside the cancel flow
- community notes hit every playstation post. the cost is reach. nobody checks out on x, and a €400m dutch case over ps store pricing opened in court two days before the disc news
#PSBlackout runs august 23-30. one login in the final month of the quarter still counts you as active, so seven days in august barely touch the reported number.
store spending is the only real-time lever.
on july 1 sony killed the disc. the same day, it scheduled the ps3 and vita stores for death.
they are showing you the ending and betting you keep buying anyway.
Every time they promote something without acknowledging the backlash or the outage, it makes my blood boil.
I've never seen a company disrespect their consumers so unapologetically. No idea how some of you are ok with this.
Make no mistake, this will eventually get to you too.
Quite funny there are products being sold to allow you to more easily play your 30 year old games in modern times while they’re trying to tell you there’s no demand for current gen physical games.
“Climate change will manifest as a series of disasters viewed through phones with footage that gets closer and closer to where you live until you’re the one filming it”❤️🩹
have you noticed how PLAYSTATION is posting so much about indie games recently, as they have never done before?
it's like they want THOSE games to suffer the backlash
they are anti-gaming. anti-indie. anti-art.
Don't listen to demoralization posts. Losing revenue is always bad needing 80 hours to recoup losses is 80 hours it could've made revenue instead.
It looks bad on paper, bad on charts, bad to management and above all it looks bad to investors.
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY.
