@JustDSK UK has laws about speaking about someone before they’re charged. One of its purposes is to allow the victim and accused a fair trial. Maybe don’t score points over SA.
@FawcettJordon That’s great. Good for you. Think of the teams you stomped on in the process and what you denied their fans. Also think what it does for EPL brand going forward.
@nicogrounds To think the ‘framework’ should make it easier for nation state backed to deploy their enormous funds after an era of City dominance and in an era of PSG dominance is very reactionary.
@nicogrounds Newcastle were immediately able to buy top players of Sociedad, Lyon, Everton after take over. It’s hard to catch Utd and Arsenal if you’re mid-table. Chasing after nation state backed teams would be impossible.
@nicogrounds We’re just digesting the fact that the last fifteen years of EPL have been immeasurably distorted by financial cheating. Breaking that teams stranglehold on the best places will make the league more competitive than it has been for a decade.
@Sesas_ City collapse is very deflationary. Think it means everyone will keep powder dry in January. Might be 20 prime players on the market at discount in the summer.
