When my parents fled the Islamic Regime that you adore so much with nothing more than a suitcase in 1979, they came to Queens because they knew they would be safe there.

But today, no self-respecting Iranian has been safe in NYC since the moment you took office.

You laud the same Islamosocialist ideology that destroyed Iran and forced millions of Iranian refugees to flee to the safety of America in the first place.

You celebrated “Hijab Day” while our sisters and daughters in Iran were raped and murdered for the crime of showing their hair.

And you willfully ignored our cries for help, while 35,000 innocents were slaughtered for simply demanding to live free.

In fact, you haven’t said a word to support us until now - when you see an opportunity to use us as a political weapon to criticize the first real chance for freedom Iranians have had in 47 years.

We don’t need your promises of “safety.” We were far safer without you and everything a Temu Khomeini like you stands for.
