@TermineRadio I don’t agree. Yes the Thunder tanked and gained both draft picks. But the reason they became an elite team was the unbelievably one sided Paul George trade which gave them assets AND the future 2x MVP. That made a much bigger difference than their tanking/draft picks.

This will end up a bust. 3 years. When there is no return on these investments, and the AI studios are unable to produce content that can be meaningfully monetized - ie is interesting to real human consumers - then the AI / content bubble will pop and people will realize that humans are better suited to story telling. Of course there will be major disruption as the AI tools lower sky-high production cost barriers to entry, but the replacement of human storytellers is a long way off. The creative workforce - which everyone assumes will shrink as professionals are displaced - may in fact increase as the creative tools are “democratized” and allow everyday dreamers to create. And truthfully, not all storytellers will elect to go green screen for ther visions; there’s a place for analog and viewers may even relate better to real environments and actors on captured on film.
