A moment ago, the foot of a one month old baby girl was amputated… She was with her mother inside a tent when the area was struck while they were both inside. Within moments, the mother was killed, and the baby girl was pulled from beneath the rubble with a tiny body that cannot endure this pain; her foot was amputated, and her hand was severely injured. She is now in the hospital instead of being in her mother’s arms.

Since when did scenes like this become normal for children??A baby not even a month old, starting life like this between loss, pain, and wounds.
