Do you reckon rugby league was actually better to watch in the 90s or does the fact every game is broadcast now actually help frame that bias? For most of the 90s, only a couple of games a week were broadcast and yet so many #NRL fans argue it was unrivalled in quality.
@bennyisles@fan_fedor_@LeagueFreak Hardly a new rule. It has been applied plenty of times over the last few years. The Harry Grant one the most known. It's a terrible rule, but applied correctly in this instance.
BROADCAST RIGHTS BOMBSHELL: Nine has reportedly pitched to buy all NRL broadcast rights from 2028 in a bid to boost Stan and end Foxtelβs 30βyear hold on the code. Vβlandys is chasing a $4b deal, with Amazon also circling. Huge moment in the NRL media rights race.

@knightsgirl767@mrchrisnico He's a Life Member of the Penrith Referees Association, which has zilch to do the Penrith Panthers. Surprisingly, referees don't get shipped in from Mars and they actually do live, grow up and train somewhere :-)
Dragons Chairman having a shot at the media. He extended Shane Flanagan - who hasn't even reached that extension period. The side hasn't won a game. Deflect, deflect, deflect. #NRL
