FORGIVENESS VS FORGETTING

To forgive does not mean to forget. To forgive does not mean to validate what happened. To forgive does not turn a wrong into a right. Forgiveness simply opens up the door for people to come back to the truth. Back to the light. It takes them out of defense mode in order to see the error of their ways. Without forgiveness they will fight and defend themselves like they are fighting for their lives. Even if they are wrong. This is the fear of the ego. Fear of being wrong. Fear of the repercussions of being wrong. But if we forgive, we do not have to fear the repercussions of the errors of our ways.

Not only are we here to forgive others, but to forgive ourselves as God forgives us.

When we forgive others it also allows us to understand the situation more clearly. To understand what role we played in the situation that occurred. Without forgiveness we point all blame to the other person and emotion blinds us from seeing the truth. When we forgive we can let go of this victim mentality and learn from the situation and learn what we could have done differently to prevent that situation from happening and thereby learning the lesson and not repeating the same mistakes in the future. (Thereby clearing ‘karma’.)

When we forgive we are also able to see the person with a clear lens. To understand why they acted the way they did. It allows us to have compassion and understanding for them. This allows is to help navigate the situation and help them come to the truth as well. Even if they are too stubborn to come back to truth, we still gain a greater understanding of that person and of humanity and psychology. Understanding the world better. Seeing the world from a higher perspective. Having greater wisdom and clarity.

Forgiveness also allows us to remove the negative programs of spite, revenge, or bitterness. It allows us to move on and no longer carry that person or that situation in the back of our minds. It frees us to replace those negative emotions with ones of love and understanding. It allows us to have those areas of our minds back allowing for greater clarity, wisdom, intelligence and iq.

To forgive does not mean we must forget. If that person was forgiven, but they have not healed that part of themselves and come back to the light, then we should not expect them to act any differently. We understand them more clearly and know why they operated that way. We know not to allow them the opportunity to hurt us again in that same way.

Forgiveness brings wisdom. Forgiveness brings clarity. Forgiveness is the key to coming back to the light. Forgiveness brings us back to truth. Forgivenes alloes others to come back to the Light and truth. Forgiveness brings us back to God. Forgiveness brings us back to unity. This is what he calls us to. We forgive one another because he has shown us that he forgives us. He forgives us because he wants us to come back to the light. He wants us to come back to the light of truth and unity with God and be in heaven and Earth with others in the light. Bringing us back to Love.

Not all will choose the light. This earth is here for us to decide for ourselves where we would like to go.

The path is simple. Many have been deceived to keep us from the true message. Heaven on earth is a decision away for those who choose it.

** You have to forgive yourself also. That's major key.
Only when we forgive ourselves can we truly see the whole picture. Allow ourselves to see what role we played in it and where we went wrong. So that we can learn the lessons and not repeat them.

*** I wrote up an essay on forgiveness. Inspired by a convo with a friend. He has a hard time forgiving because he thinks it means to forget and go back to normal with that person like nothing happened.

This is what his church teaches. Making it hard for most to forgive like this because it can be dangerous.

The body prioritizes survival. Blood calcium is one of the most tightly regulated substances in human physiology because calcium is essential for nerve conduction, muscle contraction, heart rhythm, mitochondrial function, and cellular signaling.

Parietal cells also depend on intracellular calcium signaling to produce stomach acid.

If calcium intake or absorption is chronically inadequate, the body already has well-known compensatory mechanisms (PTH, vitamin D activation, bone remodeling) to preserve serum calcium. But here’s my question:

Could long-term metabolic stress on parietal cells—especially in someone already predisposed to autoimmunity—make those cells more vulnerable to an autoimmune attack?

I’m not claiming this is established science or that the immune system intentionally creates autoimmune disease to conserve calcium. I’m proposing a hypothesis that seems worthy of investigation.

Part of what led me to this idea is my own experience. After discovering what I believe was a long-term calcium deficiency, I experienced significant digestive problems that I believe were related to impaired stomach acid production. For me, increasing calcium intake appeared to improve digestion and was associated with improvements in symptoms such as food intolerances and other downstream digestive issues. I realize that’s only a personal observation—not scientific proof—but it made me wonder whether calcium homeostasis deserves more attention in gastric health and autoimmunity.

This seems especially worth exploring because you’ve publicly shared:

Autoimmune thyroid disease beginning at age 21.
Approximately 11 years of persistently low ferritin.
Autoimmune gastritis with anti-parietal cell antibodies.
Long-term vegan nutrition.
A recent ankle fracture.
Excellent DEXA bone density.

DEXA measures bone density, but it doesn’t directly tell us whether calcium homeostasis has been under chronic compensatory stress. Resistance training can preserve bone density while calcium-regulating hormones and bone turnover may still be highly active.

Would you consider sharing whether you’ve measured:

Parathyroid hormone (PTH)
Ionized calcium
24-hour urinary calcium
CTX and P1NP (bone turnover markers)
Magnesium
Phosphate
Ceruloplasmin
Serum copper

I’d also be interested in your long-term average calcium intake:

Approximate milligrams per day
Primary calcium sources
Whether you’ve supplemented calcium
If so, which form (for example, calcium citrate)

Because autoimmune gastritis reduces stomach acid, another important question is how much this may have affected absorption of iron, calcium, copper, magnesium, vitamin B12, and other nutrients over time.

This hypothesis may prove to be incorrect. But if it’s testable, it’s worth testing. Even a negative result would add to our understanding. If there’s something to it, it could open a new avenue for researching the relationship between nutrient homeostasis, stomach physiology, and autoimmune gastritis.

Dairy is not the answer if you cannot digest it property. (Due to low stomach acid, or altered gut micro biome). But calcium citrate might be a solution.

How much calcium have you been getting over the years? Any supplementation? Calcium rich plant foods are full of oxalates that bind to calcium and block absorption.
