followup to this:

The #1 reason I see is overheating and HDMI ports. Those are both caused by the design of the PS5 putting the power supply at the bottom of the unit, advertising clients a standing up unit.

Second, Liquid Metal is extremely viscous. Microsoft stull uses thermal paste on their chips which tends to hold a lot better in the vertical position compared to Liquid Metal.

My humble opinion is that liquid metal was not a good choice.

I can tell you I see more PS5 defective units than Xbox's.

Tells me either one is made better than the other, OR there's a massive disparity in consoles.

I personally prefer Xbox.
