@D162Michele China has CIPS. Who actually feels OFAC pressure? Intermediaries still clearing USD. UAE was Iran's largest non-Chinese trading partner, $28.2B in 2024.
AI stocks are like coiled springs, after near-term consolidation expecting a multi-month rally.

Japan printed money for 30 years, and inflation finally arrived. The pensioners pay for it.
Prices are durable near 2%, but 2026 pension raises came in at 2%, below last year's 3.2% inflation, while elderly households outspend their income by 21%.
This is the debasement bill. Record BOJ stimulus and debt over twice GDP lit the fire, and inflation is a wealth transfer from savers to asset owners. That is why Japan is finally buying stocks: equity holdings jumped 29% in a year, deposits 0.6%.

The only thing that can fix all this is a US Treasury gold revaluation (not a gold market price revaluation).
I guess they’ll have to experience a lot more pain before they’re forced to pull the trigger.
