Fact check;
Bit chat uses bluetooth, There is no way to block it.
Switch off social media and and it still works,
Switch off the whole internet and it will still work.
Switch off phone calls, text messages and still bit chat will be able to work.
Turn on airplane mode and Bitchat will still work.
The only way to stop bitchat is by physically finding users and switching off their bluetooth connections on their phones one by one(which is impossible)
It should ideally be restricted to the small area where your bluetooth is discoverable but because @jack developed it is a mesh network, messages bounce across various devices and messages go further to about 300 metres.
UCC ED Nyombi Thembo says they have the capacity to block Bitchat because they have the best technical team that's capable of handling all telecommunications and networks.

@LifeNewsHQ Misleading
Pro-life sites like LifeNews and AUL promote this narrative using Worldometer’s abortion counter, which draws from WHO’s estimate of 73 million induced abortions annually. These sources add abortions to tallies of diseases and injuries, claiming it tops lists
Misleading;
Health organizations like WHO and Guttmacher track abortions separately from mortality causes; fetuses/embryos are not counted as “deaths” in global statistics. The claim ignores this distinction, using it rhetorically despite total deaths (~60M) being far below 73M. No 2025 WHO data lists abortion as the top cause.
