@tusabesmusic @steveahn_ You are entitled to your opinion, I am to mine, and Steve is to his. My intention came from a good place. If you feel otherwise, I will never rob you from your opinion. Peace.
@tusabesmusic @steveahn_ Your reaction appears emotional. I have been friends with Steve for years and know he has a heart of gold. My opinion/suggestion was simply to be aware of our specific words as they are so powerful.
@jackidinger That was not the answer to my question. Again... We. Want. The. Same. Thing. Equality. All of us. Black people in society today, Jewish people who died during the Holocaust, Japanese people in the internment camps, etc.
@jackidinger I absolutely agree with you that there is no justification regarding horrible acts of injustice and violence. If we look at the course of history, every race has been oppressed at one point in time. The oppression is the problem.
@jackidinger And we can agree to disagree peacefully, but I believe we are all the same. We may look different and have different cultures and lifestyles, but we are all human beings. We all should be treated with respect.
@jackidinger I understand that the black community has and is having very trying times. You and I could never truly know how it FEELS as we are not black. Have you ever heard of the Japanese internment camps? Perhaps, read about that as well. I support equality. I support human beings.
@jackidinger I’m not against Black Lives Matter. I support the movement. I also believe if we stopped looking at ourselves as different colors there would be more peace in this world.
@jackidinger Jacki, last time I checked... cops kill all colors.
Was it fucked up and wrong what happened? YES. Am I trying to shove that event to the side? NO.
We all want equality. We should be fighting the real enemies. The people who want us divided through violence.
@DTFosch That is your perspective and we can agree to disagree. I never once said that I’m saying what else is happening doesn’t matter. The point is people have blinders on. Again, there are multiple layers to this and some of us are connecting the dots while others are not.
@DTFosch Most people can’t think clearly when their emotions get in the way. Take a step back and realize that there are multiple layers to all of this my friend. Only some of us are woke enough to see it.
