I’m sick and tired of being ignored by the government politicians who refuse to address the Islamic invasion of our country much less them taking any action.
I manage a local daycare with a firm rule: pick-up is 6:00 PM, and late arrivals pay $2 a minute. One night at 6:45 PM, a young mother rushed in wearing hospital scrubs, looking completely worn out. Her fine came out to $90. Clutching her toddler, she apologized through tears and explained that severe understaffing forced her to stay for shift change. She accepted the fee, but begged me not to drop her child from the program.
Seeing how exhausted she was, I opened the billing system and cleared the $90 charge. Then I went to the kitchen, packed up three leftover plates of baked ziti, and handed her the warm food. "According to the system, you got here at 5:59," I said with a wink. "Take this home so you don't have to cook tonight." Rules keep things in order, but empathy keeps us human.
Abigail Spanberger is on a statewide media tour frantically telling Virginians why they must let every murderer and rapist vote in our elections.
But she won’t lift a finger to help this mom of 5 who has been absolutely railroaded by the legal system.
Priorities, I guess.
🚨This is the new Canada 🇨🇦
Parliament is unrecognizable. The people who built the country are no longer in control.
They didn’t lose a war. They were replaced in their own house and told to celebrate it.
I want to make it clear that I have been all over the Commonwealth. From Arlington to Wytheville and down to Virginia Beach, I will represent ALL of Virginia, not just NOVA, unlike Senator Warner.
The Muslim Brotherhood doesn't just support terrorism. It inspires it.
We introduced the Muslim Brotherhood Is a Terrorist Organization Act to designate this group for what it is. This bill marks a serious shift in U.S. foreign policy, activating sanctions, asset freezes, and travel bans to dismantle the Muslim Brotherhood's operations in the U.S. and abroad.
You cannot defeat an enemy you refuse to name. We will never apologize for putting American security first.
I'm sorry that this will piss off half the parents reading this:
Your 11 year old probably doesn’t need a $8,000-a-year travel team.
Meanwhile, mom and dad haven’t had a weekend alone in 8 months because every Friday afternoon the SUV is packed for another tournament 4 hours away.
They need to just play sports (if they want).
There’s a difference.
$3,000 team fee.
$2,500 hotels.
$1,500 eating out.
$500 uniforms.
$500 entrance fees
Every weekend gone, and somehow we convince ourselves this makes us better parents.
Then we wonder why marriages struggle. Put the kid in rec ball and let them play with their buddies.
Take your wife to dinner. Take a family vacation that doesn’t involve a Marriott next to a sports complex.
If your kid is truly THAT good, you’ll eventually know.
But I think a lot of parents are sacrificing their marriage, money and entire family calendar chasing a scholarship that probably isn’t coming.
I agree that most kids need sports.
I’m just not convinced they need travel sports.
That's me - the one who forgot their $5 hat for picture day on a team that cost $20 for the season.
A New Harvard/Harris Poll found that Republicans are more likely to vote in the midterm elections than Democrats.
🔴Republicans 63%
🔵Democrats 57%
We need to treat this like a Presidential election year.
Show up to vote or Democrats will take back power and turn Congress into a Trump impeachment circus again.
Don’t let them take back control.
EXCLUSIVE: New York Democrats are trying to create a Sharia-compliant state bond—and explore letting cities issue their own.
S3901 would force five state bodies to build a sukuk, an Islamic financial instrument designed to generate returns without paying interest.
Not sure if you will see this but here goes. The people calling in DC calling shots are out of touch and too far removed to be making those decisions—especially without input from the controllers, managers, and ops supervisors who actually run the operation. That leaves Ops Managers/supervisors caught in the middle: forced to push rules that don’t make sense and are sometimes dangerous to sell the official line that those changes will be for the better, all the while getting no backing from the said management when they need it PLUS taking the heat from controllers and the union who hate them for those same rules.
@VannevarB@Anna_Giaritelli Depending on the facility yes. Also you get the mids- work a 6am -2pm then have to be back for a 10pm-7am or 11pm- 8am. And an RDO then get scheduled a mandatory overtime. And ops managers get even worse
Feedback from America’s air traffic controllers following my interview with FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford — they say they have no voice and are being treated horribly by the agency and DOT.
