@BluRegardless @RoyalMaj3sty I don’t need nonstop action. Smallville worked because the characters and drama were actually compelling. This just isn’t. And for John’s backstory, give me more than a drunk dad, trauma and racial commentary. He’s a Marine, architect and Green Lantern.

Address race all you want, just make it feel like an actual story. If I’m cringing at the dialogue instead of invested, that’s bad writing.
