Depression is,nt just sadness.
It’s hating yourself.
Having no motivation to do ANYTHING .
Never being able to sleep.
Struggling to get out of bed.
Knowing you have stuff to do, But can’t do it.
Ignoring hunger.
Forgetting about self care.
Depression isn’t always sadness.
do you ever sabotage your own free time? like wtf is that about? i want to play this game or read or do something specific but instead i will just stare out the window or scroll mindlessly???
@girlsnotes_ Honestly, I have never felt more alone in my entire life than right now. Laying here in bed, wondering why I am the way I am, and why is it so hard to just fall asleep and never wake up again. I'm tired of me. I'm tired of living. Death sounds so much fucking better than this.
Most people don't realize that your brain is always looking for evidence to confirm what you've told it. If the story you tell your brain is, "Nothing ever works out for me," it will start searching for everything in your life that reinforces that thought. This is called confirmation bias. But it works both ways. If you start asking, "What if things are actually working out for me?" your brain will look for signs of that too. The thoughts you feed matter, because your mind will always try to prove you right.
literalmente así funciona la depresión, la perdida de memoria, concentración y retención llevan decadas documentadas, una etapa depresiva puede hacerte "perder" 10-25 de iq
A veces me pregunto si acabaré teniendo pareja otra vez...
Siento que mi lugar de procedencia y mi situación de estar opositando por una plaza me limita demasiado :(
I highly recommend having hobbies cause it distracts you from falling in love unnecessarily, and I have an explanation. An ideal mind always mistakes loneliness with love, but busy minds have standards, because when most of your days are filled with things like lifting, creating, reading, learning things like that, you stop chasing people for excitement, because we have a really bad habit of romanticizing every bit of attention that we get. Even if it was not not directed at us with the same intensity of intention, most of the time you are simply wanting something to do.Instead of the feel that you're confusing with wanting. And I strongly believe that best relationships are built when two complete lives meet instead of two bored people who try to become each other's hobby, the interdependence in that situation would create the pressure which finally would become the reason for the eventual breakdown.
Life stops being painful when you stop seeing your body as yourself and start viewing it as just an instrument to interact with the real world. You also start to be just an observer, rather than an active participant, that's pretty awesome.
