🐟 @tryoctapulse uses AI vision to automate hatchery QA, reducing inspection time from about 5 minutes to under 30 seconds per fish while achieving over 90% accuracy, allowing farms to advance only high-quality fish and reduce wasted feed, labor, and downstream losses. This automates broodstock phenotyping and juvenile deformity inspection, two critical QA steps that are still done manually on most fish farms.
They've already have signed pilots and their models are learning each day and improving performance. Starting in the hatchery they are building towards an entire platform that can plug into existing workflows using off the shelf cameras and continuously improves.
