@cyb3rops Agreed 100%. There is going to be a big cliff in technical depth because people are going to lean too much on LLMs.
Also - the tech industry in general is way overhyping AI and people are buying into it.
@cyb3rops It’s amazing at the bottom and ceiling potential for AI/LLMs. They’re not a silver bullet whatsoever - but some tasks they can make an impact. They’re super nuanced.
@ImposeCost Welcome to Arizona! We’ve got the best Mexican here and it’s not even close. I’m in Scottsdale too - DM me if you want some amazing spots to see
@ImposeCost I had former 3 letter colleagues I’ve worked with. I remember one who specifically said they knew assets that died because of Snowden. That really changed my perspective on Snowden from “hero” to…it’s extremely complicated. Both bad and good things happened bc of his leaks
@Myrtus0x0 The higher I climb in big tech the more I am forced to be a PM. It’s terrible. The best gigs seem to be the ones at actual security vendors that grok how to solve adversarial problems with little friction.
@evilsocket Dozens and dozens of variables behind getting rejected. A vast overwhelming amount has nothing to do with you or your skills. Rejection still deeply sucks tho.
@ImposeCost Remember having to memorize phone numbers and not being reachable when you weren’t by a land line? I did have a pager tho because of the movie Hackers. 😂
