💢 BREAKING: Israeli airstrikes targeted a police site in the Al-Tawam area north of Gaza City early Saturday, killing 5 police officers and a child, and wounding several others, according to Gaza police authorities.

The General Directorate of Police said Israeli aircraft struck the site with at least two missiles. Gaza’s Interior Ministry later announced that a child, Saber Abdel Rahman Jarbou, was also killed in the attack.

The ministry said the strike was part of Israel’s ongoing targeting of the police force aimed at dismantling civil order and spreading chaos across Palestinian society.

It added that 42 police personnel have been killed since the ceasefire agreement entered into force last October.

Those killed today were identified as:

In its statement, the Interior Ministry condemned what it described as a “heinous crime” against the police force and said the continued targeting of police personnel and civilians represented “a coup by the occupation against the ceasefire agreement” and “a flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions.”

The ministry also accused mediators and the international community of remaining silent as Israeli attacks on police and civilians continue across Gaza.

🇱🇧 Israel murdered 10 members of the Deebo family inside their home in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr in southern Lebanon late Tuesday, including three women and three children.

Those killed included Maria Deebo, Maleeka Deebo, little Mohammed Baqer Deebo, their parents Zahraa Najdi and Alaa Deebo, alongside grandparents and another relative. Entire generations of one family were wiped out in a single strike on a residential home, journalist Hala Jaber reports.

🗞️ The United States and Israel are still, 210 days after agreeing to a ceasefire in Gaza last October, deliberately withholding essential food, medicine, and shelter from children in Gaza like the two orphans filmed below.

An estimated 1.9 million people remain displaced. The U.S. and Israel are restricting basic aid to pressure Hamas and other Palestinian armed resistance groups to surrender and give up their weapons, while continuing daily strikes across Gaza.

On Saturday evening, an Israeli drone struck an electric bicycle in the Falluja area of Jabalia refugee camp, killing one person and wounding others, according to local media.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reports 5 people recorded killed and 15 wounded in the past 48 hours across Gaza, including four newly killed and one body recovered from beneath rubble.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the ministry said 850 Palestinians have been killed and 2,433 wounded, with 770 bodies recovered from the rubble. The cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023 has risen to 72,736 killed and 172,535 wounded, according to the ministry.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 What’s unfolding in southern Lebanon is getting serious.

After an initial Israeli strike on a car in al-Tiri that killed two people, journalists Zeinab Faraj and Amal Khalil went to cover the scene and took shelter nearby.

Then came a second strike near that location.

Faraj was wounded. Amal Khalil was killed and her body has been recovered.

When the Red Cross arrived to evacuate them, the rescue operation was disrupted. The ambulance was hit with a stun grenade and later came under gunfire, with bullet marks visible when it reached the hospital.

Rescuers had to pull back.

Lebanese officials say journalists were actively pursued and call it an inhumane attack.

Israel says it targeted what it considered a threat linked to Hezbollah and denies blocking rescue efforts.

So now just saying “Hezbollah” is enough to make anyone a target?
