Perfect timing....visualizing the end of the semester and learned about data visualization😂. This can be so helpful in macro work social practice, especially when trying to convert statistics and numbers into something easy to read and manageable. #CSUSMSW
Some more thoughts.. in regards to article, I think that individual narrative storytelling is a powerful tool to create change and establish meaningful connections, especially for social work #CSUSMSW
New Media Literacy: Great dance moves professor 😄 & probably my favorite content watched this semester! Wondering if other professors could integrative digital stories to make teaching more participatory. #CSUSMSW
Session#12 Reading: Last week's chapter made me wonder how many times change agents use contest strategies and realize that there is no point of return! #CSUSMSW
From Session #11: Assessing openness & commitment for system capacity for change is so similar to micro-practice. Establishing trust, modeling democratic process, recognizing and respecting differences and creating common language. SW skills useful in all settings! #CSUSMSW
Feel like more like terribletasker instead of a supertasker. Also was taking out some frustration on those doors. Makes me feel better that only 2.5% of people are Supertaskers. https://t.co/aIf2lT428P #CSUSMSW
I am playing catchup... NewMediaLiteracy Week#11 from the PBS Frontline Film. If I could go back in time, I would choose this population (teenagers), in SD county, and social media effects on mental health for my community analysis project 😯 #CSUSMSW
What really resonated with me from this week's reading was the concept of boundary setting and how this really impacts those individuals with the highest level of need, who unfortunately have a decreased likelihood of being served. #CSUSMSW
This week we learned all about assessing communities and all of the components we need to consider to conduct a comprehensive assessment. Interesting to see how SD and Imperial Counties have put this into action https://t.co/b3NQURX0K8
