Major school safety bill filed today that incorporates most of what is already required but with additional oversight, training, and coordination. #StayTuned
Today, I filed historic priority legislation for school safety. House Bill 33, known as The Uvalde Strong Act, will ensure the tragic mistakes made on May 24, 2022 at Robb Elementary are never repeated.
When a crisis strikes, there will no longer be confusion and delay—only immediate, decisive action. #txlege
