Fraud losses in credit transfers are measurable and growing

They don’t need hacking
They need pressure and a “send now” moment.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB) joint report shows that in 2024, overall losses for credit transfers were €2.2B, up 16% YoY.

That’s why the next upgrades in payments won’t be flashy.
They’ll be guardrails that prevent regret before money moves.
