@LankyCarGuy @Petrolhead_Rich @TibsGTE @ThePollitt Not sure when/why I got tagged into this but my input will be - have to replace the outer “shell” on our JLR keys every 24 months without fail. Things fall to fucking bits. Have tried third party parts but they’re even worse. I now accept every 2 years it’s a new “outer” key.

@Talesofanalfa I’ve driven a 2 but not a 1. Maybe we should mind meld and work it out? For reference I drove it approximately 10 miles and nearly died twice. All good fun!

@xk8_jag @ThePollitt @ChrisFM52E Doesn’t surprise me. We do our living room carpet (The only downstairs carpeted room) about once a month now and the waste is always black. But kids/dog/countryside living/open fireplace - just the nature of the beast I guess.
