@tmcclimans1 @tiffany_peltier @AbbyTeachesDSM I was going to ask the same question—do they know all the spelling pattern and apply it consistently? Where I work, it is not unusual for about a third of our first graders to be reading vowels teams in multi-syllable words, but the automaticity in the encoding is not mastered.

@joannacarroll96 I know some programs that are adaptive but if you are looking for a universal screener, I am not sure outside of NWEA. Aimsweb Plus is moving to adaptive testing starting next fall but I am not sure how that will look or if it is an add-on to their current platform.
