My girlfriend on this blessed Kirkiversary* commented how those celebrating Kirk's death are all black. I told her I'm confident the majority of them are white (and not even in one of those tricks people use to teach you about Bayes, but disproportionately so). “True,” she replied. I said: “It's the most important truth there is right now.”

Without running a survey per the strictures of the Steve Harvey Institute, I would gut-feeling expect fewer than 40% of black respondents to know who Charlie Kirk is; fewer than 20% with specificity beyond “a guy who got shot” or “some right-winger," etc. White people all know Charlie Kirk is. Now it has become clear who among us *is* Charlie Kirk, and who is not.

In spite of all the Nothing that's transpired following Kirk's murder, a Something has managed to happen. Among the caucasoids in skin tone and in soul, those who are demonically possessed have hardly been able to conceal their pleasure. I have seen this with several traitors close at hand, and I hope you've rooted out those near you too. Some got smug, some mirthful; some were too content; some were aloof and ironic about it. But it's pleasure all the same – the pleasure of one faced with a dramatic twist on a TV show, or one about to take on a challenging video game level. The pleasure of one with no skin in the game and endless time to savor not having it. In short, they'd rather your team win, but they hope the bad guys get some good shots in at your wife, parents, kids. That's showbusiness.

This observant fellow TOM – who by this post (formerly tweet) seems to have true skin in the game and a stake in whether Kirk, or anyone like him, dies, or anything worse – has made an interesting prediction. Based on the increasing adoption of “Right Wing Thought into the category of Acceptable Discourse” (capitalization his), he warns: “Expect strange bedfellows going forward, and don't expect credit, apologies, or kindness.”

I agree with him that these are matters of life and death and then some. And I agree that our sense of esthetics (such as the sense we are “owed” an apology) will be betrayed, mocked, and flagellated. As a consequence, I foresee our sense of ethics (those being values we'd die for rather than allow they die) will be put into overdrive.

If you know r/K selection theory in biology, it's a useful framework to use here. Briefly, an r organism is one that produces many, lower-quality offspring, such as an octopus, while a K organism produces fewer, better, but more resource-intensive ones, such as an orca. With manufacturing and the economy sucking shit – luck-based survival pressures, shall we say – it seems likely we'll all be producing more and worse offspring in hopes a few will survive the crabs and currents.

On the other hand, if you model ideas and discourse like offspring, then it's clear that we now need honed, superior ideas, and fewer of them. The current landscape of ideas is one where merit, rather than luck, is still the strongest survival pressure, which I suppose is something to take solace in.

Our future “bedfellows” are going to make crude parodies of our octo-babies, sticking the corpses on their antennae and tricking out their pincers with the blood of our brood. Our ideas will be similarly weak and mockable if we spew too many of them. Therefore, the skin-in-the-game side, the Charlie Kirk side, faces the challenge of promoting strong killer-whale ideas, tactically and stridently paraded, painted black and white and unmistakable in any costume.

Anyone playing Devil's advocate right now is playing pretend at Plato's forum, not fighting for survival. If you've had the misfortune of talking to such people, you'll know that there is NO getting it into them that this is a matter of life and death. Joe Biden's little tagline, "We're fighting a battle for the soul of this country," is really funny for being exactly wrong: NO soul, ALL blood and guts, are the stakes of this fight.

Hence why ideas that are packaged to further “reconciliation” are, at time of writing, a waste of resources, and I'll be the first to admit it's a shame. When possible, I prefer to like people and give them the chance to redeem themselves. But gee, there just isn't enough plenty in the larder to allow for such charity these days. I'm unhappy to have grown up in a cultural forever-war that's become an actual forever-war, killing and all. But skin in the game makes it easier to stay principled.

Philip K. Dick, the writer of "Blade Runner," prophetic schizophrenic, and usually correct person, envisioned that the world was trapped in a Black Iron Prison which existed outside of time, causing constant conflict and restriction. "Everyone who had ever lived was literally surrounded by the iron walls of the prison; they were all inside it and none of them knew it." It's hard these days not to take this myth as simply true.

So take note, friends, the color of the walls, and the demeanor of the watchmen, while you have this chance to observe them. It is critically important to note and remember who's happy to keep the Black Iron Prison erect. It is entirely permissible to gain benefits by exploiting the favor of guards and happy inmates (who are, in the Prison, one and the same). It is critically important to stay on good behavior, expect nothing for it, and keep your schemes and protestations under wraps. The ideas, then, will do the talking... and then some.

They only give out so many cigarettes as rations. When you choose to smoke yours, make sure the conversation that follows is a good one. These are serious times.

We are going to see the ingress of Right Wing Thought into the category of Acceptable Discourse over the next few years. It will be piecemeal and janky. It will not be "clean code." This will be frustrating and destructive.

Why is this the case?

The current metaframework of governance, by which I mean the structure of structures we use to govern both political and Political realms, is counterintuitively resilient and fragile.

It is remarkably resilient in the face of reality and hard data, but it is incredibly fragile in terms of its mythological underpinning. The system we have in place can tank literally countless rapes, murders, assaults, thefts, and wanton property destruction, but it goes into panic mode lockdown if a load bearing myth gets challenged by a celebrity or an elite.

It's hard for me to parce this, as it flies in the face of my logic and intuition, like I am upside down underwater but my brain is convinced I'm standing upright in the open air. This is my subjective failing, probably an artifact of chronic Rightwingedness. But others may be more properly equipped to analyze this and understand the inherent characteristics. I suspect these types will not necessarily be "Right Wing."

Recently, there was an exchange between an Americanized sandnigger and a bog standard libtard that was fascinating. I think the libtards name is Noah, but I try not to ever give these kinds the courtesy of humanity, so I'm not sure. Anyway, the libtard told the camel jockey that "racism" no longer works as a rhetorical bludgeon. Here at the Reasonable Racism division of TOMCorp, we have known this to be true for at least 5 years, and we are happy to see the market catching up to the science.

But this Noah guy isn't an ally. He's not on side. He has not come to his senses or seen the light. It is simply the case that his back is up against a wall he can no longer pretend doesn't exist or doesn't matter to him. This is not a singular or unique case.

Very recently, a Boeing 767 over shot it's landing and killed at least five people. Preliminary ATC recordings indicate that at least one pilot was a foreigner, or a paperwork American that speaks broken English. I don't think we are quite at the point where the carrier, or the mega corporation they were working for, are ready to hang their pet minorities out to dry, at least not as corporate policy. But as cases of incompetence, recklessness, or carelessness increase in frequency, there will be a lot of backs getting shoved up against walls they previously didn't acknowledge existed.

The academy, piss on them one and all, is the rhetorical font of honors and the allowable for our current system. They are a Permission Granting Structure which plays an important role for a society that has erected The Science™ as a tin & clay replacement for God. We need experts for when things go right, and we need them for when things go wrong. We need them to confirm what we know, and to confirm that it makes sense when we don't know.

Elements of the academy are already adopting points & positions that frogs & frens were exploring a decade previous. I expect this trend to continue and increase. I also expect a fair amount of gray hair watching these midwit simpletons pretend they've discovered these things. Such is life.

Expect strange bedfellows going forward, and don't expect credit, apologies, or kindness. Take the wins as they come, and remember:

I don't see how this is the best of what he has. It's not like he has a good reason to hold back. Time is running out and his numbers are pitiful. There's been no ramp up and the signalling that REMOVAL is the GOAL has disappeared. To say nothing of what seem to be his bigger priorities.

Maybe you know something I don't, but I've had this argument with several other people and their excuses have been just that. It's like they think they're playing chess at a number of dimensions where the only winning move is to go back in time to never have played... after already scoring checkmate.

Whether you care to argue, I am curious to hear what the logistical issues are.

I agree with that, I just don't think this absolves Trump of anything. He has even more responsibility for making sure he does the job correctly. Mandate of Heaven, yadda yadda. This is different from there simply being bureaucratic red tape or whatever, of course, that's expected, but I don't think that's why there haven't been enough deportations.

I don't think it's Americans' fault for getting what they want. The headmaster is guilty for giving the students as much ice cream as they ask for. Trump as much as anyone should understand that the vocal minority on any issue is never made up of the same group as another vocal minority, considering he deliberately campaigned to the quiet majority. One must suspect he does understand this, and ask why he ignores it.

First time encountering the phrase "retard right," which is really a slap in the face from a dude I think well of (Doyle). I would think he'd see it's really not a stupid skepticism towards Trump, even if he disagrees. Let me disagree with the last paragraph. Lord of the Flies is an excellent book and the "event that inspired the book" was not rewritten, anymore than Defoe rewrote the inspirations for his castaway story. The details aren't too important but tl;dr they were Tongans or Tahitians or something who routinely swam in open ocean and were an average of four years older than the 12 year olds in LotF. Some of them might've been adults, not sure. Golding was a teacher in British schools... you can rightly say that he wrote as a jaded man with an agenda but the fact is he was also in the perfect position to see these behaviors unfold time and time again. My original comment was that they probably do it by ear since I know women can't walk quiet for shit, unless they're very experienced hikers. it could also be something to do with mobbing behavior or curiosity (great tits are close relatives of chickadees, which are exemplary in both categories). Keep in mind chickadees have very good eyesight, discern many noises, and are quite intelligent.
