Alan Ritchson calls testosterone therapy a "wonder drug" for men entering their 40s and says it's the only way he'll survive 20 seasons of 'Reacher.'

After depleting his natural hormone levels training for Season 1 of Reacher, Ritchson says getting his blood work checked and starting testosterone changed his life both mentally and physically:

Alan Ritchson: "Once I got on testosterone, I felt like a brand-new person. It makes my job so much easier because there is way less wear and tear on my body I don't have to push myself to the breaking point just to maintain my size.

I'm 40 years old now, and for guys in their late 30s or early 40s who feel themselves starting to slow down, testosterone is instrumental in so many mechanisms across the body. It stabilizes your mood, helps carry hemoglobin to oxygenate your cells, makes you feel more awake and alive, and helps process fat while building muscle. It really is like a wonder drug.

Miriam Margolyes reveals why her time in the Cambridge Footlights with John Cleese and Graham Chapman was a miserable experience

"It was a long time ago, and I think it shows me in a very bad light that I bear so much rage and irritation when I recall it"

"Women weren’t allowed to join Footlights in the days when I was there. And the very brilliant young men who were the Footlights were also mean-spirited and jealous of anybody who took their light"

"John Cleese and Graham Chapman were particularly venomous towards me. The thing they did that was the most hurtful was that they stopped speaking to me off stage. It’s called being sent to Coventry"

"I wasn’t invited to the cast party. So I complained, and I went to the cast party. And I found that really painful. So I’ve never really forgiven them"

"I think John and Graham were really brilliant young men, but they lacked that thing which is the human part of the gene. And their comedy was soulless ultimately. And I’m glad he’s old and unfunny"

[TsureX @TsureX1]

Olivia Wilde reveals why couples who claim they don't have sex still have a healthy relationship is a complete lie

"If you have ceased to engage in that, you have to pay attention"

"You are supposed to want me forever without any participation in that, without earning it"

"We don't talk about sex with the person we're in a relationship with. We then just decide that we deserve it and it's their fault if we're not getting it"

"The value of nonverbal communication and the practice of the kind of trust and curiosity involved in intimacy that is a big part of a relationship"

"People who don’t have sex and say, 'Well, we don’t have sex, but we have a really healthy relationship' I call bullshit on it"

@AronVonBrando Really.

If alcohol just makes you stop caring about the risk instead of making you stupid, how many people are actually masking anxiety with confidence they haven't earned yet?

[TsureX @TsureX1]

Jordan Peterson explains why alcohol is such a powerful drug for coping with anxiety

"It's a great drug for the moment... but it stops you from learning the skills that you need in the social circumstance to be able to cope with that"

"It makes you more extroverted and enthusiastic while you're on the ascending limb of the blood alcohol curve, which is why you have to keep drinking once you start"

"It's a great anti-anxiety drug. If you are a bit more socially anxious and you also have that positive response to alcohol which everyone doesn't have, by the way then it's a great drug"

"What it stops them from doing is caring about the risk. That's part of the anti-anxiety components. Like, yeah, the risk is... that's why you can drive around drunk at high speed in a car"
Learning skills: "It actually stops you from dealing with the anxiety. You don't have to learn how to overcome it. That's not good"

I was so drunk on my own insecurities and low self-worth"

@ForgeXI @joerogan Borrowing youth at the expense of your older self" is a wild way to put it though a lot of people argue Rogan’s look comes more from decades of HGH than just standard TRT.

@JoshuaCare65932 Staying 235 pounds and shredded year round at 40 without help is nearly impossible, do you buy that he actually did Season 1 completely natural though?

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@JoshuaCare65932 Diet and sleep will fix it for most normal guys, though staying 235 pounds and shredded year-round on a Hollywood filming schedule is a whole different beast.

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@designcoursecom @KirkMcalpin3 There’s a massive difference between blasting steroids and bringing a 350 level back up to a healthy baseline people definitely overlook the health risks of staying deficient.

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@RealBrentMoyers @TakeoverJoe Really

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@oneslicspic Life goes on

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@SwitekReturns Think you’ve got the wrong actor the only people Alan is beating up are fictional bad guys on Reacher 😂

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@tattooine07 Overtraining.

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@KirkMcalpin3 Fair point, though actors pretending they look like that naturally at 40 probably makes normal guys feel even more inadequate than just admitting they have help.

[TsureX @TsureX1]

@Venomancing Unless your natural levels are genuinely tanked, locking yourself into injections for life without a Hollywood paycheck attached is a massive commitment.
