So from what I gather of the trade deal between India and US from POTUS post, is this.

1. Reduced Reciprocal Tariff from 25% tariff to an 18% tariff for India
2. India will reduce Tariffs and Non Tariff Barriers against the United States, to 0.
3. India agrees to stop purchase of Russian oil.
4. does not specifically mention but Iran crude too (as claimed in an earlier post on the budget day)
5. india agrees to buy Venezuelan Oil (India crude oil imports ~ nearly comprising 10% of its total oil imports.
- LPG deal where Indian public sector refiners for American LPG imports
-Passed the SHANTI Bill, 2025, to allow private players to enter the operations side of the tightly-governed nuclear power sector – fulfilling key US demands)
6. India going to buy $500 billion worth of US energy, agriculture, coal and other products under the trade deal . (Currently: U.S. goods exports to India in 2024 ~ $41.5 billion. U.S. services exports to India in 2024 ~ $41.8 billion.)

(No wonder Indian celebration is muted with little details).
