@kmugova@Jamwanda2@Jamwanda2 can kindly advise if the policy for gvt departments to buy locally assembled vehicles is still in place . Local vehicle assembly plants been complaining of market when the gvt every year purchases hundreds of vehicles
@kmugova Very true.
For me now will keep reminding GVT what they said and promised. I know @Jamwanda2 who is active on X will pass the message .
On local vehicle purchases handisi kutsukunyuka. Why did they gave such directive when they are obsessed with "foreign" vehicles.
@KMutisi Munin'ina it's our money but I am still to be convinced on the quality of the paper used. The $10 and $20 notes uumm won't last long time . The ones I got as change recently and for a new currency am not convinced .Certainly the paper used is not as strong as USD paper.
@kmugova Gvt through Telone has a computer and laptop assembling plant. As a patriotic Zimbabwean I went to Msasa and bought a Laptop going by the name Infinity about 5 years ago ,for my daughter at AU.
The same GVT went on to buy Laptops worth $9K each not from their company !
@Jamwanda2 If this happens thats the end of all indigenous plastic manufacturers who were dependent on Dairibord. Sad day . These guys do not support local plastic converters. They prefer Indians
@cemambo I hope it's not true. This will mark the end of indigenous plastic converters who depended on Dairibord. These guys even in their current set up do not support local players. If they do they deal with Indians
